The Bankruptcy Court does not require that a debtor disclose to anyone that he/she has filed for Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy. Many times people confuse the full-disclosure required by the bankruptcy court to mean that there are certain people who must know about the bankruptcy.
However, this is not the case.
The full-disclosure required refers to giving the bankruptcy court and trustee a truthful and complete accounting of your assets and liabilities.
