8 U.S.C. § 586 and 11 U.S.C. § 101of the bankruptcy code establish the U.S. Trustee Program as a federal agency that is responsible for the execution of bankruptcy cases. The program and the subsequent trustees are involved in order to make sure bankruptcy cases are efficient and maintain integrity. It also maintains communications between debtors and creditors.
