A schedule is an individual document that is filed along with the original bankruptcy petition that lists out what financial effects an individual has. This includes assets, liabilities and income. Schedules are required for both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy and there are different schedules for different types of assets/liabilities. A debtor must file a schedule listing real property, personal property, different types of debt and any contracts the debtor is under (such as a lease).
