The News Media says the Economy is Recovering: Is This a Bad Time to File Bankruptcy?

If you are in dire financial straits and in risk of losing your home, car or otherwise in financial peril, it is never a bad time to file for bankruptcy.  Bankruptcy protection is an individual process, determined by the unique financial circumstances of the debtor.  Whether or not a person is eligible for bankruptcy is not determined by the public sector. Although bankruptcy is at a peak due to the economic downturn, individuals have filed for bankruptcy during a booming economy.

Do not let those around you manipulate you into thinking that you do not need a financial fresh start.  If you have determined that bankruptcy is the best resource available to preserve your financial future, a forecasted economic improvement for the global economy is not a deterrent.  The bankruptcy court is always open to honest debtors in need.
