Will my Current Employer be Notified that I Filed?

No. Although bankruptcy is a matter of public record, in most cases an individual or entity would have to go look up whether or not a debtor filed for bankruptcy. Past, current and future employers do not receive a notice when an employee files for Chapter 7 or 13, unless they are creditors. If the relationship is strictly that of an employer/employee then no notice is distributed.
Do not let fear of public notification keep you from obtaining the fresh start that you need.
