What Information do my Creditors have Access to?

Many people considering filing for bankruptcy mistakenly believe that creditors have the same rights and access as the trustee.  This is not the case.  In a Chapter 7 or 13 filing creditors have a right to be noticed that the bankruptcy has commenced.  However, they do not have access to your personal records other than what is public information from the court's website.
