Bankruptcy filings at highest point since 2005

According to a new report by Reuter, bankruptcy filings in the U.S. have reached the highest level since 2005. Texas had one of the lowest filing rates, ranking 48th in per capita filings. Among principal drivers of filings, the article sited job losses, healthcare and the foreclosure crisis. The article predicted that we have not seen the end of bankruptcies and the highs will continue to elevate.
