Can I File for Chapter 13 if I Get Paid in Cash?

The Bankruptcy Code, as well as the Internal Revenue Service, requires that an individual debtor report ALL of his/her earnings, regardless of whether you are a banker who gets his paychecks delivered via direct deposit or a hairdresser that gets paid in cash.  Therefore, if you are in a cash industry you may still file for Chapter 13, however it is imperative that you gather all of your records for an accurate accounting.
